After restore of C:\ driver administrator account was disabled.

I restored the C:\ drive which contains the OS (Windows XP, SP3) and when I tried to log on I received an error message saying the user account had been disabled and to contact the administrator. I AM the administrator of the computer and would like to know how to fix this and access the computer.
