Anyone aware of alternative products that have worked well for them in the consumer software space? My needs are pretty simple. Thanks

Google something like "disk imaging".

Whatever you select, make sure you do a test restore a few times to make sure it works. This applies to every backup program ever written.

While your question asking what works well on our machines seems very reasonable, the reality is that programs that work with the disk on a lower level and use a specialized restore environment whatever it might be, must be tried on the actual hardware. What works good for me and several other people may fail on your computer. If I were to answer the question without the word "alternative", I'd answer True Image works great for my requirements.
