Am I mising something or does the backup log file lack basic information

Thread needs solution

I'm using Acronis True Image 2013, backing up three internal 1 TB drives to a pair of external 2 TB eSATA drives.

An absolute minimum requirement for a backup Log file should be that it tells me how many files were backed up, and the total disk space occupied by all the files that were backed up. I can't seem to find either of these statistics in my backup log file. In fact, the only thing I do see in my log file is information that is totally useless to me. I have no idea what "Pending operation 152 started" means.

Have I overlooked something really simple here? If I'm looking in the the location please forgive me. I only purchased Acronis two days ago.

The True Image log file only reports actions and failures.

True Image doesn't backup or image at the file level, it uses changed disk sectors, therefore that information isn't really available without some sort of post processing. If you are needing that information to gain confidence of the image/backup integrity, that can be obtained by - validation (painstaking) or by Exploring (image or backup) or Mounting an image (disk/partition).
