Any way to remove a Password requirement for logging into a mapped network drive?
I just added a new NAS 4 TB drive but I can not get Acronis to log into it to write the BU as described.
It continues to give error message that PW is not valid.
Is there a way to have Acronis NOT use a PW to log into a shared NAS drive?
This is a real PITA as the entire system is in a secure office setting w/ no public access.

Credentials are same as always used and are same on the new NAS unit as well as main workstation.
Acronis is True Image Premium 2014 bld 6688.
I did like the non-stop BU feature and mounting of images for selective restore.
However far too many times I have had issues with recent Acronis versions.
Support has even taken over my machine remotely to try to solve a similar issue and in the end had to do a complete UN-install ALL Acronis products run a special "Clean up" utility they supplied, re-install and still had issues. The issue was ramped up to higher and higher (I assume) of support techs as it was not easily solved.
I did remove it completely from one office machine but hopefully retained it on several others. No longer.
All this is academic now since I will no longer be updating Acronis and moved to NovaBackup which using the exact same credentials has no issues with completing the BU.
Tnx anyway.shadowsports
