Any Work around for creating Acronis Secure Zone on disk with 4 partitions?

Thread needs solution

I have a new HP lap top which comes with 4 partitions on the hard disk.

When I try to create Acronis Secure Zone, it won't do it because it says that the MBR disk will only hold 4 partitions. Is there any work around for this?

John:

Apparently you have four primary partitions on the disk. In order to add more partitions you would need to convert one of the partitions to logical. You can do this if you have partitioning software like Acronis Disk Director.

As an alternative you may want to re-think using an Acronis Secure Zone (ASZ). Many of us think this is a bad idea because if your laptop's disk dies then your backups die with it. You would be better off storing backups on an external USB disk.

I have ATIH 11(8.053). A month ago I cloned to a new 1TB hard disc, deleted one partition, created extended partn. with 2 logical drives, and created Acronis secure zone on unallocated space successfully. After 3 weeks computer started freezing and couldn't solve problem by restore points. Simplest solution was to recolone(I have several old HDDs from old computers all cloned to same date(3 weeks old). I cloned the 1TB HDD leaving the same(a few GB larger) unallocated space on destination drive.

Did my Secure Zone survive the clone in the unallocated space? Wizard won't create a new one.
