Applications not restored in boot partition restore 2012

Thread needs solution

Took full disk backup of Boot partition. But when I restored from external disk drive, none of the applications were there. Why?

Most likely, your backup was not all inclusive of the disk contents. If everything really was included, you may be looking in the wrong place. Start out looking in the users folder.

Look in Windows Disk Management graphical view to see all the partitions listed on your disk and some may be unlettered and not appear inside Explorer.

Thanks for the response Grover!

I looked in all Users folders. Not there.

Looked in Disk Management graphical view ... all partitions listed and none unlettered.

Disk backup settings: Didn't find any opportunity to include or except disk contents.

Am running Windows 7 x64.

Just took another backup of the Boot Drive(C). It was successful!! However, now it won't restore!! :(

Continuing saga: tried once more and this time it alerted me that I didn't have enough memory on my target C-Drive. It was right ... just short. Now I am trying to figure out how to move a partition to another drive in Win7. When I accomplish that, I'll let you know what happens with Acronis.
