"Archive Computer Closed" ???

Thread needs solution

Hello. Using the latest build of ATIH 11 (build 8101) - although seen on a previous version as well - on XP Pro SP3. I have recently noticed that in the logs for this computer's scheduled backups, I see multiple entries like "archive computer closed". I don't recall seeing these before nor do I see it on other computers using the same product and build.

I see in #4 here that at least some others have seen this issue. But it claims it is fixed in the newest release - which I got and installed on the problem machine 2 days ago (build 8101). So I am surprised to see these in my logs still.

I see here that these are "normal" but again, I don't recall seeing them before recently. If this is true, I understand why I do not see them on all computers because not all have a max-file rule set in the backup location.

Still, it would be good if someone can clarify what is going on here.

Thanks

Hello David,

Thank you for posting your question, I will be happy to help. Please accept our apologies for the delay with the response.
The issue has been addressed in the next version of Acronis software. Acronis True Image Home 2009 and Acronis True Image Home 2010 do not have such features as Backup Location, but the Backup Location functionality has been implemented for all destination folders.

I may recommend you to install a trial version of Acronis True Image Home 2010 available here in order to make sure that the program runs flawlessly.

If you would like to purchase the upgrade to Acronis True Image Home 2010, please visit the Acronis online store.

If the provided information is not clear or if you have any other question do not hesitate to post them and we will be glad to answer.
Thank you.
