Asus eee PC 1101HA: Patch against Black Screen with HD-Boot-Loader?

[Acronis True Image Home 2010 for Netbook, Build 4030]
Hello

Learned from other threads there exists two solutions against the black screen:
- Disable LAN in the BIOS (perhaps also WLAN and others)
or
- Use the new USB-Boot-Image

Question:
- Does there exist also another solution / a newer HD-Boot-loader?
