ASZ not supported
The ASZ partition that I created on My Passport external hard drive using TI2011 indicates that it is not supported, yet I successfully imaged a operating system from a file that I had created in the ASZ partition. Could some one please tell me what "not supported" means?

When I open DD11 on my Desk top and look at the volumes that are on my hard drive, behind the volume label, following the ASZ label I read the following " (Not supported)". Also when I run the boot media the same label is indicated under DD11. So when I am not trying to do anything but just looking at the information in the DD11 windows I read this information. I am concerned that it indicates that some how the image file that I made will not work or if it is some other suggesting of impending doom of the file or the ASZ volume itself. I just wish to know for certain that everything is working properly.

If you can see the ASZ from the Acronis True Image recovery CD, and actually test restore a couple of files, don't worry.
The ASZ is a special partition that is only accessible by Acronis software (maybe only by True Image, I don't know), so it is not surprising that a partition tool looks at it as unsupported type of partition to do partition management (creation, moving, merging, etc.).
