ATI 11, full backup creates numerous 'duplicate' files.

Thread needs solution

When we run a full backup, we can't understand why we get eleven more like-sized copies. Let me know if you need more info. Please, see attachment. Thanks.

Your disk is probably formatted FAT32, so it is impossible to create a file bigger than 4GB. Therefore, ATI splits the archive accordingly.

As MVP Pat L has indicated, it is highly probable that the target storage disk has a FAT32 file system.

This storage disk can be converted to a NTFS file system and future backups should be 1 large file.

on how to convert to NTFS.
