ATI 2010 Home Outlook 2007 backup/restore broken
I am running Windows 7 64bit and ATI Home 2010 version 6053. I used the email backup. When I did a email restore on a rebuilt machine, I noticed that the email restore did restore all the email... BUT looking in the Sent folder I noticed that the email only had the first recipiant in the To: field. If you sent the email to multiple people in the To: field, they are gone except the first person in that field.
I sent Acronis an email about this bug, but they told me that I didn't have a support contract, so they were not interested. Naturally I am of the mind that if you claim that your product can backup and restore email and someoe shows you that you are wrong. That you might want to make your product work as it is described when being sold. Sorry.. just really scratching my head over Acronis's responses to issues. I don't know about you.. but all I care about it backups.. ROCK SOLID backups. I don't care about secure file wiping, firewalling, antivirus support, etc.. I have programs for all that. I bought this product for one thing, that was to make ROCK SOLID backups. So I get frustrated when I see them adding functionality that I believe 90% of us will not use.. and not making their product be the best backup software around. Yes I am starting to look at what else is out there in regards to backups.

Hello, Dave.
Could you provide more details
1) Type of account are you using - IMAP, POP3 or Exchange?
2) Could you provide a mail that reproduces the problem?

Sure..
I am using pop3.
To reproduce the problem... simply send a email to three people in the "To:" field.. then do a email backup.. and restore that email backup(making sure your email is not open). Open your email up and go to the "sent" folder.. look at that email you sent.. The "to:" field will only have the first person of the three that you sent it to.

David,
Do you know if the email lists the other 'to:' addresses if you view the email header source?
Is your mail folder in the default Windows location or have you moved it?
*edited - deleted reference to Outlook Express - not applicable to W7 and LiveMail after rereading post header.
