ATI 2011 - bootable rescue media - shutdown not available from within ATI

Thread needs solution

i have booted from CD build 14.0.6574
i then fire up true image to perform some tasks.

once i'm done i'd like to shut down / power off / power down the system.
but i can't find any option to do so.

i think this would be quite important - e.g. after attaching an external HDD via usb.

current workaround is to exit TI which in turn will do a "reset".
during boot procedure i have to press my PC's power button for 4 seconds to prevent it from booting up into any OS from either HDD or CD-ROM.

pretty annoying.

cheers, philipp

so i'm hoping that this feature request will be implemented in one of the next updates for ATI 2011.

in total i have observed various issues when it comes to invoking a "shutdown" from the different acronis components on the bootable rescue media.
i'm attaching a complete summary - just in case somebody else is interested ...

i have tried the latest bootable ISO download of ATI Home 2011 Plus Pack 14.0.6857

the feature still has not been implemented. there is a workaround to press CTRL-ALT-F2 to switch over to the BusyBox console and then type: poweroff

however, i still suggest to get this feature implemented immediately.
