ATI 2011 Build 5519 Validation: Backup Corrupt but NOT

Thread needs solution

Using ATI 2011 Build 5519 (lastest) on a Windows 7 Home Premium 32-bit PC. Ran a backup of my C drive. Checked validation of the file located on my partition. It says:

Validation Result: The backup is corrupted.

I can restore my PC with this file. Why is validation not working correctly?

DTM,

Does the Rescue CD also report the image as corrupted or just from within Windows?

Is this a complete disk image or just the C:\ partition?

Is the image stored on the same partition or a different one?

Do you have anything like TrueCrypt running on your PC?

When you say you restored the image, was this an actual restore or just an explore/mount/ test?

No. It passed

Only C partition

Different

No. Just a fresh copy of Windows 7 Home Premium 32-bit fully updated. No other software or hardware.

Full restore

When I open ATI 2011 program in Windows and validate my one file called my mybackup.tib it passed.

When I just right mouse click on the mybackup.tib file and then click Archive then Validate it failed.
