ATI 2011 (build 6597) The specified file does not exist.

Thread needs solution

I've been running the same ATI schedule for a couple of months. Suddenly last night it failed with the log message "The specified file does not exist."

I looked in the backup location and it appeared that 2 incremental files were missing. Reluctantly I deleted the backup set and created a new backup.

The new back up fails with the same error message only 2 minutes after starting. This is whilst it is still scanning the partitions.

What's happened in the last day ? The machine hasn't been rebooted or had new software added. How do I fix this ?

Welcome to the forum and thank you for posting. I will do my best to assist you with this issue.

Most likely this error means that our software had problems accessing your backup location. Is this a partition or a file backup?

If your location is an external USB device, can you try resetting it?

Would it be possible to send me the AcronisInfo report so that I can analyze the program logs?
