ATI 2011 Build 6696 and BUGs again :-(
Hello,
in the newBUILd 6696 are some BUGS again.
Example:
1. I have ATI 2011 and PLusPack.
In the other builds earlier it appears on my USB Stick after booting and prepare to recovery the recovery Option to use "universale restore" or not.
But this option is not to see in the new build.
If I'm booting I see the display "ATI 2011 PLUS Packet". This will meen that ATI PP is correct installed on my Stick. But the feature is not to see....??:-((
2. my favorite subject:
I hate the "NonStop Backup". I dont need it, and I think nobody need it too.
I love Try and Decide. But always if I activate it, it appears the message that Nonstop Backup is running and has to close.
NonStop Backup is deactivate in "Services" and "Autostart". Why comes this message but yet??:-(
Where can I see the news about Buld 6696?

I've encountered problem in upgrading to the new release with error code #1603. Email to support is still pending. The company support suck big time. I just don't understand why this company releasing software updates with bugs. I regret buying this product.

The only thing I'd say about NovaBackup is that whilst it does work, you have to create a specific disaster recovery backup for the boot media to see it and restore (why a regular backup isn't recognised is beyond me) and it can't restore to dissimilar hardware or easily explore archives as ATI does - when ATI works!
But ATI is SOOOOOO frustrating and the one thing that really pi***es me off is that the True Image Echo family was so stable and solid - why did they not learn from that vast wealth of existing knowledge and be able to make a great ATI Home product - it is potentially a great product (note potentially) that has great features the others do not.
I hope by ATI Home version 2026 they will have a good product.

I agree NovaBACKUP's specific disaster recovery is a little weird but i schedule to run a normal full system backup on Saturday for weeks 1,2 and 3 and then on the fourth scheduled a DR backup. every day i run an Incremental backup. It seems a lot faster than Acronis especially when using a NAS. Acronis took 23 hours to backup my system to a NAS, NovaBACKUP takes about 14 hours and I restored to a spare drive to make sure everything was there :) I started using Acronis TIH 2009 and it was briliant, as soon as they started adding all the bells and whistles it went down hill fast.
