ATI 2011: Viewing backup images in Explorer details mode

Thread needs solution

When an image is opened directly in Explorer the files and directories are shown in 'tiles' view (in ATI 2011).

IMO, it would be much more useful to show files in details mode. Switching to details mode is only valid for the current directory. Mounting an image with a drive letter would be a workaround, but normally I just click on an image without mounting it.

ATI2011 is in vogue here. Seems most programs these days don't appreciate the inherent utility of the details view vis-a-vis the inherent disutility although picturesqueness of Icon and other views. It's not the default on MS office, although you can reset it, iirc. In Adobe, you can reset it for a file in a single instance of viewing a directory but the setting is temporary even within a single session of running Adobe. Adobe always opens in the wrong mode, if you always prefer Details View.

The list goes on. Alas, we are out of style -- Wingtips in a world of flipflops ;)
