ATI 2014 reinstall fails on Win7
I've received an ATI error stating that the scheduler was not running. The Acronis support site says that this requires app reinstallation. I have the needed serial numbers, but the process does not seem to work.
After running the downloaded app exe, the final screen with "Launch App" and "Finish" locks and won't respond. It then causes explorer.exe to quit running. ATI won't run, reporting that it is not installed.
On restart, I run the installer again. This time it prompts for passwords, which I enter. Installation completes and again the final window freezes and explorer.exe crashes. The same "not installed" error is reported then and on reboot.
I need to make changes to the laptop but cannot proceed without a fresh image. Please help.

Nicholas, glad to hear that the full uninstall and reinstall resolved the problem you were seeing.
Please also remember that you can create and use the bootable Acronis Rescue Media to make backup images of your laptop if needed.
