What is a "GA version of Windows 10"? I only know about versions 1511 (=Windows 10 since November 2015) and 1607 (=Anniversary Update).
Do you think that ATIH2015 does not work in Anniversary Update any more?

Berti, GA = General Availability, i.e. the first initial general public release version.
As far as I am aware ATIH 2015 should continue to work correctly in Windows 10 unless Microsoft have introduced some reason to 'break' it. Willy, the OP of this thread said he could still start ATIH 2015 but didn't comment further as to whether all the functionality works still.

Thank you Steve.
So Willy Verheulpen, you just may have to reinstall ATI2015 in Anniversary Update of Windows 10.
I cannot test that myself, since I have a different issue with Ann.Update. It doesn´t install due to an unspecific reason.

I haven't received the Anniversary Update on my systems yet as the roll out hasn't reached me so far and I am in no hurry to go get it myself until I can put it on one of my test systems first to try it out. There are already reports that MS have removed the option to disable Cortana in the new version - I do not use Cortana and no desire to do so!

This happens to me too. After having upgraded Windows 10 to the 1607 edition, my TrueImage 2016 install was gone. Mind you, the program didn't disappear from the add/remove programs list.
I re-ran the installation, which gave me an option to repair the installation. The TrueImage is now working again, but I have an empty list of archives.

Tej, you should be able to repopulate your backup list by using the option to Add existing backup at the bottom of the column - you will need to reconfigure the backup settings.
One of the issues with Windows OS upgrades is that they are essentially a full reinstall of Windows 10 followed by a migration of user data from the old Windows account to the new OS folders. You could try looking in your Windows.OLD folders to see if your Acronis Database and Scripts folders are still present there.

I used a quicker approach and just restored the whole C:\ProgramData\Acronis\TrueImageHome folder and got the archive list back. Luckily the last backup I did was of the system partition.
Oddly enough, the C:\Windows.old\ProgramData folder didn't contain any copy of the folder. It was either gone when I reinstalled ATI 2016 or it got reset.

The prime requirement is to have the latest build No 6613 of Acronis 2015
installed on your computer. That build gets over any compatibilty problems with Windows 10 and its Anniversary Edition.
I upgraded to the latest Windows about three weeks go and it works just fine with Windows AE. In fact it appears to complete backups a bit faster than my previous Windows 10 build. I also noted that an old PhotoShop V 7 App loads much faster than before.
I have tested full drive scheduled backups and have restored them (to an exchangeable hard drive) using Acronis Bootable Media.
I have now deleted the old Windows files as I no longer need them.
Hope this helps

I just installed the Anniversary Edition and I notice that the Acronis Schedular stops during startup. I looked at Task Manager --> Startup, and it shows as enabled, but the backup is not starting. When I start the ATI application, the schedular starts again. Has anyone seen this? Is it a Win10 problem or an ATI problem? Is there a setting I need to change?

Bob, there have been a number of different problems reported for users who have installed the Win 10 AU version as this is essentially a full OS replace and can have the effect of changing partition data and making ATIH think that either the source or target for backups has changed.
The recommendation here would be to reselect the same Source and Target (Destination) drives for your backup task and then see if this problem with the scheduler goes away.

Bob, I saw this issue with TI 2016 after the Windows 10 AU. I had to uninstall and run the cleanup tool then reinstall from scratch. THe cleanup tool is here https://kb.acronis.com/content/48668. This is definitely a Windows 10 issue. Browse some of the earlier comments in this thread for ways to not lose your existing tasks, posts 6,7,8.
Edit:
You might try a repair install first.

Similar experience with ATI2015 here. ATI2015 seemed to "survive" the installation of Windows 10 Anniversary Update, but mounting backups was not possible after anniv. update.
I recommend a clean uninstall of Acronis (don´t forget to check the registry keys before reboot) perhaps best before installing the Anniversary Update and a fresh installation of Acronis after the Win10 AU.
