ATI Home 2010 Recovery CD Problem

Thread needs solution

I have ATI Home 2010 and an Acer Aspire 1810T Laptop. I created a recovery disk, (both TI & Report - with TI set to autostart after 10secs). When I tried to boot to this CD, it hangs on STARTING ACRONIS LOADER. The CD Drive keeps flickering like something is gonna happen, but I waited 10, 15, 20 mins, nothing.

I then burned a new one, just TI and no autostart, same result.

Can someone help me burn one that will actually boot this computer?

Also, as a test, I booted to an old True Image v.10 CD I had and it booted up, BUT, it did not see the laptops hard drive, only the external LaCie I happened to have plugged in.

Download the TI 2010 ISO from your Acronis account, create a CD from it using an ISO capable program, and see if it works. It uses a different loader than the one created using TI.
