ATI home 2011 Backup fails if network drive unavailable.
I am running ATI home 2011 on a PC, mainly to run a scheduled backup of files from that PC to a USB hard drive, but I am also backing up a few files from a network share.
This has been working fine, but a couple of days ago the backup failed due to the network share being unavailable (the network PC had been turned off). The event log mentions that the network share was the problem, but looking at the actual backup files there was nothing for that day, so it looks like the whole backup failed to run - even the local files !!!!
Surely it should backup what it can and log the error, rather than just fail to do anything.

Do you mean that it is supposed to behave like that!!!
If is normal I would have thought it's more of a bug than a wish.

I don't know if it is supposed to behave like that, frankly. It is a UI design issue: when an item that was selected during setup is missing (ie a network location, or a folder, or a file), what should ATI do? Ignore/ask/fail?
As a workaround, you could create a different backup for this network location. At least your local files will be backed up.
