ATI OEM 1264 - Failure to Install with different strings in SMBIOS tables

Thread needs solution

With build 1264, we've noticed an odd behavior where it appears a string in the SMBIOS tables of our product determines whether or not ATI runs and captures an image. I'll use some madeup strings below to illustrate the specifics of our issue.

If the string "PROD X" is in the SMBIOS tables, ATI successfully installs and captures an image of the entire disk.

If the string "PRODUCT X" replaces the "PROD X" value in the SMBIOS tables, ATI installs in Windows, but fails to capture an image of the entire disk.

Has anyone else seen this behavior?

A couple additional notes about our hardware - we do not have a legacy keyboard controller. Also, this is not the first set of hardware that we will be releasing with ATI with these different strings in the SMBIOS tables. In otherwords, this was not an issue in previous versions of ATI (10045).
