ATI12-Home - Move backup from Network to External disk - skipped one .tib

Thread needs solution

As per subject, I moved a backup of my C Drive from a LAN folder to a folder on an External Backup disk (USB). I used ATI12 Home from Properties icon > More > move. Of the 30 .tib files in the Lan drive, ATI moved 29 and skipped 1.

I then attempted to validate the backup after moving it, but ATI complained about the missing file - C_Drive(1)27.tib. That is when I discovered it was still on the LAN, so I pointed there, but ATI just prompted again for the missing file. I tried that a few times without success, so finally Cancelled the Validate.

I copied the C_Drive(1)27.tib file from the Lan to the External drive with Windows Explorer, then tried again to Validate with the same result.

Is there any way to fix this?

Thanks,

- Carey

Please disregard this request:

I suppose using ATIH to move backups from one disk to another is not a widely used practice. I gave up and just deleted the backup. It was the one I made after installing Windows and a few programs and settings that were to be my ultimate disaster recovery in case I wanted to go back to a "clean" start.

Thanks,

Two things happened:

- ATI did not move that one file.
- When you moved it yourself, ATI validation still complained about missing that file.

It's possible that there is something wrong with that particular file.

I had supposed there was something wrong with the file, which is why I was looking for a fix. No matter, the files are deleted and I am on to other tasks.

Thanks for your reply!
