ATI2010 Windows7 SideBySide Error
Hello,
I get the following error daily:
Fehler beim Generieren des Aktivierungskontextes für "C:\Program Files\Acronis\TrueImageHome\BartPE\Files\TrueImage.exe". Die abhängige Assemblierung "Microsoft.VC80.CRT,processorArchitecture="x86",type="win32",version="8.0.50727.762"" konnte nicht gefunden werden. Verwenden Sie für eine detaillierte Diagnose das Programm "sxstrace.exe".

I am also getting this error periodically:
Activation context generation failed for "C:\Program Files (x86)\Acronis\TrueImageHome\BartPE\Files\TrueImage.exe". Dependent Assembly Microsoft.VC80.CRT,processorArchitecture="x86",type="win32",version="8.0.50727.762" could not be found. Please use sxstrace.exe for detailed diagnosis.
What little I've been able to learn suggests that the programmers (i.e., Acronis) need to fix the "manifest" in the .exe file.
I'm running Windows 7 x64, Build 6053 of ATImage 2010 with the Plus Pack, new driver, and the fix for wireless keyboard & mouse.

Has anyone managed to resolve this problem? I have installed the latest build of TI 2010 and the latest plus pack on a clean install of Windows Ultimate x64 and I am getting this error as well.
Any help appreciated.

This should be fixed by installing Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable Package:
32bit: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?displaylang=en&FamilyID…
64bit: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?familyid=BA9257CA-337F-…

Unfortunately, the above did not resolve the issue. Thanks for the help anyway.

Hello All,
Visual C++ Redistributable version 8.0.50727.762 belongs to 2005 SP1:
Microsoft Visual C++ 2005 SP1 Redistributable Package (x86)
Please download and install it, and you should not experience this issue again.

Same problem with Event 33 sidebyside error (W7 64bit) TureImage 2010. system locks up requiring reboot issuing sidebyside error. I have found that if I put my system in lock position when I am not using for more then 1 hour the system recovers from error and subsequent lockup. If I remove my AV software no problems. I have had the same problem with Avira and FSecure. This appears to corrupt the NSB
requiring a clearing of time explorer volume.

Hello all,
Please try to install the software the following way:
1. Launch the product installation file
2. Once the Acronis product installation screen appears, right-click on the name of the component that fails to install. You should see two options there: Install and Extract. Select Extract
3. Select the path for extracting the component and click Save
4. Go to the Run prompt (Start -> Run);
5. Issue the following command:
msiexec /i msi-filepath
where msi-filepath is the full path (including the file name) to the file you extracted in steps 2-3, for example, if you save extracted AcronisTrueImage.msi to the root directory of your C drive, then you should type in the following:
msiexec /i D:\AcronisTrueImage.msi
Please reply to this thread if the issue still persists.
Thank you.

Hello All,
This issue is currently under investigation by our Development Team. It is caused by PE plugin of Acronis True Image Home 2010 using different manifests than Acronis True Image Home 2010 itself.
For now there is a workaround: ZIP and delete the PE plugin folder:
- Go to C:\Program Files (x86)\Acronis\TrueImageHome (or C:\Program Files\Acronis\TrueImageHome), right-click on BartPE folder and choose Send to -> Compressed folder.
- Delete the original BartPE folder. This will not affect the software's functionality in terms of backup and recovery. Errors in the Event Log should not appear anymore.
Thank you for understanding and patience.
