ATIH 2011 Nonstop Backup Pauses -or- and dies silently

Thread needs solution

I tried ATIH 2011 last year on a previous computer and gave up on it due to a myriad of silent failures, error dialogues with no messages, and various other assorted problems. I have since moved to a different computer, so I am giving ATIH another chance. So far it's off to a rocky start.

I'm trying to use Nonstop Backup. In fact that's my primary use for the program. It ran fine for a few days. Then it got into this mode where it would start, run (and churn the source & backup disk) for 10 minutes or so, then it either (1) stops with a "nonstop backup has paused" message, or "stops silently" .. no more disk access, no errors, no diagnostics, no anything.

Windows Event Viewer does provide some help (below).

I'd really like to make this work if I can get it to a point where I trust it. The concept of the nonstop backup is great (finally something like "Time Machine" on the PC). But so far my experience with it, on two completely different hardware platforms, has been abyssimal. [thoughts regarding Acronis Support deleted to avoid sounding too harsh]

Any thoughts on this (Nonstop Backup failure) before I toss it in the trash and go back to Ghost like I did last year, this time permanently?

Thanks in advance!

Given the type of errors, I would uninstall ATI, reboot and reinstall.
