ATIH 2012 build 6154 update

Thread needs solution

Hi,

I am using build 6131. I understand that 6154 is available. I have been trying to download this new build without success.

Also I registered my build 6131 both by th purchase and using the registering page. The site tells me I am registered for build 6131 but the serial number does not show in my serial number page. I can find no link to download the update (6154) and the download of the trial update is all that is available.

Is there a problem or am I missing something?

Regards,

Werner,

When you say 'serial number page' do you mean the serial.txt file?
If build 6131 is showing in your account then your serial number must be registered. It is possible that 6154 doesn't exist for some language versions as yet.

The entry for TIH 2012 in your account will automatically reflect the latest build available for your version of 2012.

I think you misunderstannd me.

1:I installed build 6131.

2: I registered it.

3: The registration widget told me I was already registered.

4: My serial number list on line doesn't show it listed.

5: I presume that 6154 in english is available but I can't find the download link.

6: The only link available is for a previous edition not even for build 6131

7: Perhaps you or someone can tell me how to find the answer to my question - Why is my build not listed and why I can't get to the download link for build 6154 for registered users. (When I run ATIH 2012 it tells me it is activated.

Regards,

Werner

Go to acronis.com, log in, register you serial number thourhg the website. either it will take it or will tell you it is already registered.

Once you are logged in, you can go to the updates page, click on ati2012 and see the latest update.

If that does help, contact chat about the issue.

And remember, Backup your computer before installing build 6154 so that you can get back to your starting point if it does not work on your machine.

Werner,

Perhaps a screenshot of what you see in your Acronis account would help.

Here is what you should be seeing:

Hi,

I think I'm dense. I have gone through the registration process 3 time now and each time I've been told I am already registered but I never get to the download page you show in the above message. The only page I see is the trial download page. My license page pnly show my older licenses not the 2012 license.

I'm at a complete loss here

Where on the page I see do I click to get to the page you have shown me in your last message?

Werner,

Just double check, you aren't entering the trial serial number by mistake?

I think either a PM to a moderator a contacting Chat is needed to solve your problem, it defintely seems as though something is wrong in the system.

Hi,

I'll say something's wrong.

When I got through the above now ( read that I can download the trial version for which they have sent me a password.
but in the ad I got today it says that by loading the trial version and activating it with the trial password I can change it to the full registered version by simply putting in the actual password I got when I bought the ATIH 2012 build 6131.

So I go to the site for the trial version and I can only get to the purchase page not the trial version.

There is something seriously amiss there.

Regards,

Werner

Have you contacted Chat yet? It's been advised a couple of times. IF y9u bought a license and can't get the serial number to register, you need to toalk to Chat so they can straighten out any prob on their end.

Werner, try the following:
1) Go to http://www.acronis.com/
2) In the menu, on the far right click on the "User Login" tab, this will take you to https://www.acronis.com/my/index.html (you could just directly to this page)
3) enter your "Registration E-mail" and the password you created when you registered your software (by default this is not the same as registering for the forum). Optionally click the check box for "Remember me" and then click the "Login" button. This will take you to https://www.acronis.com/my/index.html. You are now on the "My Account" page
4)On this screen you can register your products or go to the updates page
5) Click on the "Get Updates" button, this will take you to https://www.acronis.com/my/products/ where you will see all of your registered products
6) Expand the desired product and download the latest build and whatever else is available to you. Example: a) Latest Build, b) bootable media, c) Free Plugins, or d) Get Support

BTW - this is the only way I could get the latest build. In B6131 when I click on check for updates I'm informed that I have the latest build which of course is not correct. When I click on the "About" I was surprised to see that ATI was not "activated" but I was able to activate within this window. I'm in the middle of a rebuild and I thought I had activated when I installed but this does not seem to be the case.

I am having similar issues here, open ATi 2012, click the the Question mark in top right hand corner > Check for Updates (checking ...) shortly after a dialog pops up stating that I am already using the latest version! Yet the support pages post that build 6154 is out 27th Dec and I have build 6131, what is the go then?

You could log in to the site go to product updates and download the latest version and install it but you might want to wait until the verdict is in on 6154.

Hi,

This should be my last cry on this particular problem. I found out that there is only the trial version of build 6154 available. I was able to download that In the promo I saw that you can simply "upgrade" it by using your good s/n to turn it on as the actual paid-for ATIH 2012.

I did that and found that I could not install it over the active copy of ATIH 2012. I am in the process of removing the active copy and hope I can then install the trial comp and then upgrade that with my good serial number.

I hope it works. Otherwise I will start anothe forums comment but this one is now complete as far as I can see. Thanks for all your help.
I need to find the clean up tool for 2012.

Ok thanks Scott & Werner for providing this useful info in the forum, I shall wait a while until the production version goes up ...

Thanks

Werner your post #12 has confused me.

Build 6154 is listed for the full version as shown in the screenshot in post #4.

If you have attempted to install the trial version, then uninstall this (I'm unclear as to why you'd want to install a trial version over the top of a full version), re-install the original build that you had, you should then be able to install build 6154, which, if you have used a full serial number to register under your account, should now give you access to b6154 to download.
