ATIH 2013 Backup of Windows 7 Encrypted Files

In older versions of ATIH, I had trouble recovering files that had been encrypted when backed up. I was told that I should decrypt the files before backing them up to be safe.

Now I have files that have been encrypted with Windows 7 native encryption (Properties --> Advanced --> Encrypt). Sunday night, I performed an ATIH 2013 file backup but forgot the decrypt the encrypted files. But when I recovered one of them to a temp folder, it showed up as encrypted and appeared to be intact.

Does anyone know if ATIH 2013 will reliably backup and restore Windows 7 encrypted files ?
