ATIH 2013 Backups linked - Backup A "4 restore versions" are actually from a different backup.

Thread needs solution

This is ATIH 2013 latest version on Win 7 Pro 64x latest updates.

I have multiple disks in my system. Two of my single-version disks backups seem be crosslinked in the backup list, and I haven't been able to fix, even be deleting the backups and re-creating them.

I basically have a backup where Disk C is backup up to disk L, and another, that runs on different days, where disk Y backs up to disk H.

The backups run when scheduled, and the new backups appear in the right place, and are intact. However, after the backup to disk L runs, it shows "Versions: 4", even though it is a single version backup and there should be no old versions. If I click "restore" and look at the list of versions, some of them are actually backups from the OTHER backup (backup of disk Y), and some cannot be found. Meanwhile, in the main list, the backup Y to disk H shows :not backed up yet", although it has been.

After the other backup runs, backing up disk Y to disk H, then IT shows 4 versions, and backup L now shows "Not Backed Up Yet", although the full .tib file from the day before is right there.

I suspected I might have used "clone backup settings" from one to create the other, and then customized it, but some settings got crossed. So I deleted BOTH of the backups, including their backup files, from ATIH, and checked for additional old backups, which I also deleted. I then created brand new, separate backups from scratch. But as soon as I set it up to back up Disk C to Disk L and ran it, I again got 4 previous versions showing. Same thing is happening.

I uninstalled ATIH 2013 and reinstalled it. Same thing happened. I tried upgrading to ATIH 2014 and had other issues. Is there any way to clean out a cache or repair ATIH's database? My other backups work fine - its just those two. I can use as is and ignore the alleged extra versions, but its not right... suggestions appreciated.

I will be glad to try and help you but I would like some additonal information.
The single version only creates full backups. Are you not wanting to keep more than 1?
The precedure TI uses is to create the replacment before deleting the oldest so you always need temporary room for at least 2 fulls.

The the backup type a "partition type" (backup of the entire partition) or is it a files only backup only selected folders and files?

Is the target disk containing the backup files a NTFS file system or a FAT32 file system?

Would you consider posting a picture of the contents of the storage folder showing the names and file sizes of the backup files. Please sort according to detail/date/time--much like this example

Edit-Addition:
Is the backups being created by the scheduler or via clicking the "backup now" option?
