ATIH2011 B5519 Pre/Post commands

Thread needs solution

As there is no way that I can delay the startup of a task that is scheduled to run at system startup to allow the system to at least boot fully before ATIH kicks in with a backup I have to add a pre command to the task.

on Windows 7 I use the timeout command.

However it is not easy to make the work as ATIH does not put a space in-between the command and the arguments and without the space it does not work.

This seem such a fundamental error as any program that requires arguments will require a space between the command to run the program and its arguments.

c:/windows/system32/timeout.exe /t 300 /nobreak

is the command I use.

Can Acronis put this space in please when the command is run.

Can Acronis also put the complete command line into the log file as executed

Can Acronis put any ensuing output from the command in the log file such that when an error occurs the end use has at least a fighting chance of resolving the problem.

Agreed but I should not have to!
