ATIH2012 Lock Up When Creating New Backup

I made the mistake of downloading latest upgrade which disabled a critical backup that was working ine prior to upgrade. When I go to creat a new backup the brogram locks-up and restarts. I need to fix this or go back to old version. Does anyone have any ideas.

I have been using this software for several years - and it is the biggest pain in the $$$ of any of the many programs that I use. Looking for better software.

Maybe back up your latest files to flash drive etc first, then, if you recover to a previous backup then that will also recover to the older version of Acronis you had. If by chance Acronis won't now run under Windows due to corruption then use the bootable CD to recover your last backup. You could then try the update to the later version again after making sure it (Acronis) wasn't running at the same time.
