ATIH2013: Disc space robbed!

When I installed ATIH, knowing that space on the D: (Windows) volume was low-ish, and having done some careful pruning in the Windows directory to increse free space on D:, I changed the install path from D:\Program Files\Acronis to F:\Program Files\Acronis. I now find that the installer wrote the files to both locations! This robbed me of precious space on D:.
When I installed the Media Add-on (WinPE), I also changed D: to F:. The installer installed WinPE to D:, not F:.
Can I get the space back on D: by deleting D:\Program Files\Acronis and by moving WinPE.zip to the F: drive? The shortcut on the Desktop pints to F: ...
(F: is my applications volume.)
