Attempting Clean Install of v16
I have basically been away from my computers for 6 months. I have ACRONIS 14 running on three machines. I have what I believe are the licenses for 16 and would like to install it. But, there have been a number of changes on the systems, hadrware & software, and I would like to delete all the existing backups. I asked for help from the support folks and they sicced me onto a 47159: How to Delete Backups. The techniaue has not worked after 16 hours "on" time.
I can find all the archives and wonder if that may not be the best route to follow. Just zap them and Acronis 14.
Then install 16 and set off another baseline image/backup. What say all?

My observation of 2014 is that it is like a Cadillac or Mercedes or BMW. Not perfect but functional.
Whereas, 2016 is an old time Model T with many fewer backup features.
2014 does not support Window 10.
If you choose to upgrade to 2016
My suggestion would be to run the TI Cleanup utility(signature item 4 below) on each of the 3 machines and then do a fresh install.
If you have the storage room, you can keep the 2014 backups as they could still be usable for file retrieval.
If you must delete them, you can do so via Windows Explorer before installing 2016.
