Automatic deletion of initial version?

Thread needs solution

Hello. Sorry if this has been answered, I'm finding it difficult to craft the proper search keywords.

I have read in the manual about creating multiple chains as well.... but what I am looking for is..

Create initial, then 4 versions, then delete the ENTIRE set (including initial) and start the process all over. I can't find if there is an option that includes deleting the initial version automatically, and creating a new "first version" again. Is this possible with TI 2013? I see the options re: the versions, but I would worry if my initial version was a year old, and so would like it to re-create the initial version and start the process all over again; deleting ALL the old backup items; so as to not fill the HD.

Thank you!

Which type backup are you wanting to use>
Each to be full backups;
or full plus some incrementals
or full plus some differentials?

Example are shown in signture link 2 below, illustration 11-Full or 11-Inc or 11-Diff.
All 3 will act as you describe iin always deleting the oldest chain AFTER the creation of the newest full.

Note in signatrue link 2, the very first picture which is a good way of making sure everything is included within the backup.

Awesome. Answered my question. I mistook "chain" on the auto-cleanup to mean individual links. Your graphic made it perfectly clear.

Thank you for your time! I see you post responses to a lot of people so thank you for that as well!
Cheers!

Thank you Nicholas for the recognition! You are welcome.
