Thread needs solution

hello yesterday i create my first pc backup with true image 2015.but when i restore it for another reason and i run acronis launcher automatically start backing up process!!!
It's annoying.should i disable some option ?in options i uncheck timer scheme.in v2014 i don't have these issues

This happens because TI has no way of knowing that it has just been restored.

The best way of stopping this happening is to untick the 'run if missed' option. The other way is to make sure you disconnect the external drive that has the image on it. This will cause TI to fail, but carry on correctly at the next scheduled time.

thanks colin.with v2014 i don't have similar issue.but i don't schedule backup.i create always manually.I did not understand the last sentence
''This will cause TI to fail, but carry on correctly at the next scheduled time''.you mean if disconnecting external drive this fix the fail-bug?

Vasilis: 2015 automatically creates a backup schedule, and it's a very strange and non-intuitive process to cancel it. I like to backup manually (no scheduling) myself.

1. Open Acronis 2015 and click on the "Operations" button on the bottom of the window, and select "Edit Settings".

2. Now, click on the "Options" button that's in the same location as the "Operations" button was in the last screen. That's where all the scheduling options are.

Having the button in the same location with the same gear icon and naming it "Operations" and then the extremely similar "Options" on the next screen? Terrible UI idea. Anyway, hope this helps!
