Back up failure eating up hard drive space

Thread needs solution

TI 2015, Build:6525
I am really struggling with True Image 2015, I have stuck with it for 3 months but now my patience is being tested.

I have a couple back ups running, one is to the Acronis cloud and the other is to a NAS at my office. If I am away from the office (as I am at the moment, away for 2 weeks) at the back up time, it fails but does not go on and do the cloud back up, it just hangs there. If I click 'Stop', it doesn't. A computer reboot is necessary but it won't let this happen (I get a message saying 'Operations are in Progress.....'). So I have to hold down the power button and force a reboot.
The worst issue I have is that whilst away and it failing everyday, it has used up 50GB of my hard drive to the point where I only had 2GB left. Not initially knowing what was eating up the drive, I cleaned it up, deleted a few things and ended up with 9GB. The very next day it was down to 5GB.
I have now switched off the NAS back up and I'm back up to 50GB free.

I also sometimes get a message when it fails saying 'file can't be found'. How do I know which file can't be found, it doesn't tell me!

What is wrong with this product?

Perhaps change the time so the cloud backup occurs first.

On the failed Nas backup, try changing the Backup Options/Error Handling so it only checks 1 time for the target.

The program tracks used disk sectors so be sure defrag or a utility cleanup is not running between backups.

Do you have Windows System Restore enabled? If yes, it is adding this to the backup unless you have it excluded.

Need specific error message. The message may be that it is trying to located the nas which is not available but a picture of the message may help.

Hopefully, you have configure your backup scheme for automatic deletion of older backups as new ones are added to the listing.

I could change the times of the back ups but that would only be good for 1 day as once it is frozen, it won't work the following day.

I will try setting the Error handling to only check once and see what happens.

I have switched off the scheduled defrag and clean up so hopefully that might help.
I am only backing up selected files (my working files) so Restore shouldn't be backed up.

I'll run it again and try and screen shot the error message.

Thanks for your help.
