What software to use & how can one one burn a Full Back Up .tib, DVD split size files.....& which DVD to start with when/if restoring?

Nero doesn't recognize a tib file??

True Image Home will do that. But think twice about using DVD media as the primary target for backup. If the size of your backup requires 4 or more discs, when it comes time to restore you'll be swapping those discs in and out in what may seem an endless process. The restore process does not call for the discs in the order they were made.
It is far far better to use another hard drive as the backup target and if you want the security of dvd, first do the backup to the hard drive in dvd sized chunks and afterwards burn those pieces to dvd using your favorite burning software.
