Backing up and Restoring Raid0 setup

Thread needs solution

I have a Sony Vaio T series notebook which has the disk setup as Raid0. I want to replace the hard drive with an SSD. In the past I just use the Acronis Clone option. It does work in this case and I'm assuming that it's because it's a software raid setup and Acronis TI doesn't work with that. If I'm missing something on that please let me know. Is my other option to backup the disk partitions and then boot from acronis recovery disks? Are there any gotchas I should know about?

The Sony Vaio T series features a configuration with a small SSD and a spinning disk per the specifications. It seems this is what you have. Do you have Intel Rapid Storage Technology installed with SSD caching enabled?
