Hello, Dmitry!

Thank you for finding time to bring this question up!

We surely have an ability to backup Linux OS via LAN, but unfortunately I cannot guarantee that it will work with Acronis True Image Home 2010. Home versions officially doesn't support Linux Distribution. So even if we've managed to build a PXE server based on Acronis True Image Home 2010, most probably it wouldn't recognise the OS.

The only option for remote backup of Linux System is Acronis Backup and Recovery Advanced Server (which is, I must admit, not the cheapest program of Acronis).

You may anyway want to play around and see how it works. You can test the solution. The trial version is here, and it's full functional. No limitations except:

  1. 15 days of work
  2. Bootable Media can restore only

Its functionality is fully descibed in Installation, Quick Start and User's Guides, but should you have any questions - feel free to share them with me, I'll be glad to explain and guide you through the process.

Thank you!
