Backing up True Image Home 2010 in Win7 Professional 64-bit system to e-sata external hard drive

Thread needs solution

Just downloaded and installed Acronis True Image 2010 to a Win6 Professional 64-bit system. When I click on the icon to open the program, it defaults to want to back-up an internal CD drive and does not give any option to change the destination to an external drive. I have an external e-sata drive I want to use. Has anyone had any success with this issue of how to change the default destination without actually opening the program. Thanks.

Nevermind...when the program installed, it located two icons on my desktop...and I mistakenly used the one-click icon.... When I used the correct icon, it opened the program and I could run my back-up, save a start-up disk, and schedule daily back-ups...

Now I hope it all works....having read some of the forum issues, it sounds like the program has serious problems when used in Win7.
