Backlist list is overloaded with old stuff
My backup list that shows all my previous backups is so full it wont load so i cannot edit any settings. I do an hourly backup that doesnt clean up for 30 days. I also have a folder of OLD ones dating back months so you can understand how full it got. I even tried deleted all the old ones and they are still coming up in there. How can i remove these outside of the software so i can edit my backup settings?

In addition to the preceding suggestion which will delete all existing backup tasks (tib files not affected)
Several additional suggestions:
Many of us would consider keeping 30 incremental backups not a safe choice and encourage you to perform more frequent full backups.
Click on my signature link #1 and review item AGH-19 for more details about incrementals.
Questions:
If your backupa are hourly, how many backups are you doing in
in a day?
in a week?
in 30 days?
How frequently does that particular task perform a new full backup?
Consider the merits of a new backup scheme where the deletion of old backups is based on the number of chains retained. Note this example GH-12.
GH12. Create Custom Incremental Backup Scheme. 6 Inc, Keep 4 chains. The 6-4 is an example only with user choice for whatever number of chains to be retained best fits the individual needs.
Note/example: If rule selected is "Delete older than 30 days" is selected, deletion will not begin until the first chain (1 full plus all inc associated with that particular full) is completed and entire chain is older than 30 days.
If you have old backup appearing on your list which are not really related to your current backups, these may be being added by your settiong "Scan for Backps at Start of program." This setting can be disabled so the only backups added to your list is the current backups. This link will show you how to disable this setting.
GH41. Control Scan for backup settings. 2014 is 3rd link.
