backup can be restored if I delete the partition?

I'm usinsg Acronis True Image Home2009.

I backup whole C: and D: then I delete D drive after backup.

in this case can I restore the data regularlly?

Don't know what "regularly" means, but if you remove "D" and then resize "C" to fill the drive, I don't believe the restore is going to give you the option of shrinking "C" to make room for "D"; I think it will just fail instead. In that case, you will probably have to shrink "C" prior to the restore to make room in the drive for "D" restoration.
