Backup : credentials on remote drive are changed

Thread needs solution

Hi there,

I have a backup setup between my computer and my NAS, where it is copying D:/Doculents Under a shared drive on my NAS \\192.168.1.10\Backup.

Everything is fine until the moment I change the password on my NAS. Even though I deleted the old "Map network drive" on the computer and created the new one "\\192.168.1.10\Backup" with the new credentials, and can open this mapped drive on the computer, Acronis Backup says it can not connect to the remote drive ???

If I change the admin password on the NAS back to the original one which was set when I created the Backup, then it is working again.

Where is Acronis Backup storing the credentials and password and how can I change that ?

Many thanks !!

I believe it is stored with each backup task which points to the NAS as the storage disk.
Editing the task is clumsy. My suggestion would be to cease using the o ld tasks and crea te new tasks pointing to a new NAS sub-folder with the correct password.
