Backup Failure

Thread solved

What does this mean?  I had a full backup with incrementals and then was set up for a new full backup.  I got the following message.  The N drive is connected.  What should I do?  Thank you.

Information: Failed to open backup N:\My Backups\LGolden_-daily_backup_diff_b42_s16_v1.tib. Make sure the backup location is accessible and contains all versions of the backup. This backup may also be corrupted.

Details: Click Retry to try to read from the same location. Otherwise, click Cancel to cancel the operation.

Lois, the first check should be to ensure that your backup drive does actually have the drive letter N: and hasn't been given a different drive letter due to having another USB device connected?

If the correct N: drive is connected, then does the file mentioned in the error message exist on that drive?

If all still looks to be correct, then have you deleted any backup files outside of using Acronis to perform 'automatic cleanup' within the backup task process?  If you have deleted files using Windows Explorer, then please run a Validation for your backup task and take the Ignore option if offered, for the pop-up error messages presented by the validation process.
