Backup filename grows and grows and grows and grows

Thread needs solution

No matter what I do, ATI2011 creates a backup file with a massive and growing filename -- here's last night's backup filename:

Data_.tib_70899AC6-BDB1-4A84-8C16-76A99C3401A1.tib_2726201D-7CFA-47D6-8BD3-C61B285CA97E.tib_EBC33BA0-01B4-490F-8483-40BCA4AC10E9.tib_0EEB49C8-D282-4629-970C-2A06843290A3

ATI Home 2011 Build 5519 on Win7-64 all updates.
I have a task to backup a non-system partition as follows:
* No exclusions
* Destination: U:\Data\ - (NTFS)
* Schedule: Daily at 23:55
* Backup scheme: Single version
* Backup name: Data_

I've searched the forum and googled/binged and can't find an answer anywhere.

Anyone have any idea how this can be fixed?

just a hunch one here but sounds like a wonk in the database or in a registry entry. Have you tried deleting the task and maybe database file (xml), starting ATI and creating a new task?

Deleting the task and defining it from scratch will help. At least in my case I know how I can produce these long and unwanted filenames --> http://forum.acronis.com/forum/16571
