Backup to an internal drive

Hi,

I am running Windows XP Pro and I would like to back up my C: drive, which is 34 GB. Can I use Acronis True Image Home 2010 to take an image of my C: drive and save that image to my much larger, internal E: drive?

I got the answer to my question elsewhere. I performed a one-click backup and all went well. I found it very interesting that 20
GB of material were reduced to 10 GB when saved.

... six years later, I'm doing something similar!  I'm backing up a 500gb drive (C:) to an internal 1tb drive (E:).  It seems to be working fine, but I did include "E:" in my list of exclusions...
