Backup to Netword drive

Thread needs solution

I have been successfully backing up my laptop to an external drive for months. Just purchased a new router with a USB3 connection, so thought I'd connect the external drive to that, as the previous arrangement wasn't very secure (as in, no secure place to put the drive) I mapped the drive, tested it, could see it fine. Changed the "destination", in the backup settings, (nothing else) checked to see that it could see the drive and attempted to press the "back up now" button, which did nothing. As the normal monthly backup was supposed to start about an hour later, I thought that it is waiting for that to happen.
So, I waited, but nothing happened. It usually sends me an email to tell me if the backup had failed or succeeded, got no such email. Now it is showing that the next backup is due next week, as if it had backed up. Clicking on the "backup now" button still does nothing.

What have I done wrong?

I have build 6613, FWIW

The target disk ID has changed.
You can try using the TASK "MOVE" OPTOIN and point the task to the new location;
but probably, you will need to create a completely new task which points to the new storage location.

You can probably use the task "clone settings" option to clone most of the task settings and then just change the task name and the storage location to point to the new disk. I would suggest the new task have a new empty folder on the usb3 disk.
