Backup outlook with non standard path to .pst file

Thread needs solution

Hi,

I'm using Acronis True Image Home 2011 and Outlook 2010, I'm runing Win7 ultimate. When I try to use the email backup function it only backups the registry settings, and not my data. My outlook PST files use a non standard path, and they are placed on a different harddrive. Is it possible to get Acronis email backup to see and backup the alternative path?
As it is now I include the PST files in the ordinary backup, but for me the email backup function seems to be more elegant.

You might want to just create a special "files" backup for all the outlook files. Everytime Acronis gets ATI working with Outlook, MS changes how Outlook behaves and things get of of whack again. That's a general problem with program-specific backup up operations -- the programs change at diff time than the backup software.

Endre - another suggestion - I also use SyncBack Pro to backup my PST files. It will BU a locked PST file which is the case when Outlook is open. I use OL 2010 x32 on Win7 ultimate x64. Nightly I mirror the PST file to an eSATA drive and I keep a week of PST files.
