Backup reports error : "Cannot open file (0x40007) Tag =0xF35F747B3B21FA59"

Thread needs solution

Any time we do a complete backup (data about 80GB) the backup is being processed and completed "Successfully" but displaying the above mentioned error during the procedure. This results in a restore failure : "...the backup file is damaged..."
Can anyone help?

Thank you for reporting about the issue!

Unfortunately due to the lack of diagnostic information it is hard to identify the cause of the problem. It looks like we cannot access the file due to it is busy with some another process, so let's investigate the issue and find a solution.

Could you please kindly specify do yuo backup just data or you create a full backup of entire hard drive? I would also appreciate if you could kindly provide us with the following information:

  1. Could you please kindly do the following?

    - Download AcronisInfo
    - Run the downloaded file.

    The gathered information will be put in AcronisInfo.zip in the same folder, where the AcronisInfo was saved.

    This information will allow us to take a closer look at the Acronis product state and logs.

  2. Download Process Monitor and run it. Reproduce the issue without closing the utility. Click File ->Save in the main Process Monitor window. Select All events and save the log file in the PML, CSV or XML format.

This information will show us the logs, current state of the product and what process  makes the file busy.
