Backup simply doesn't happen

My backup stops running for no reason. No errors are given, no failure notice emails are sent, nothing. I have reinstalled with no change. I ran the software that is supposed to restart the backup process with no effect. It just doesn't run reliably.

A 30 day free technical support window is a joke for something that happens randomly like this. It's maddening. If you're reading these forums considering whether to buy, think hard about finding software from a company that supports its customers for more than 30 days.

Try to set up new backup tasks to a different directory. Does it work with the new tasks?

Is it the scheduling that doesn't work reliably? What type of scheduling do you use? Maybe the computer goes to sleep before running the backup, or falls asleep during the backup?
