Backup to USB Drive on another Computer
Any TI2013 backup times out when backed up to a USB drive on another computer on my network. The drive works fine if backed up to from it's computer. I can do backups to an NAS on the same network. Would appreciate any assistance. Thanks

Thanks Grover, I disabled power off in power manager and it seemed to do the job. BTW can you tell me how to add backups to the list that are on another computer or NAS on my network? 2013 apparently doesn't find them when it scans. I don't know if it's a config problem with 2013 or if it's normal. If it's normal, how would I do it manually? Thanks

if you browse to the desired location containing the backup to be added, you should be able to right click on the *.tib file and choose the "add to backup" option.

Thanks. I tried right clicking and the only options in the menu were, Mount-recover-validate-back up to and recover. Add to list doesn't appear.

From within the True Image program, select "browse for backup" then find (browse to the location) the backup file(s) you wish to add to the backup task list, select the file and click "add to backup list". I don't think you can do as Grover suggested while browsing in Windows Explorer. I always select the last (newest) file in a chain (set) of backups files when adding them to the list. In 2013, for some reason, on my system, I have to try to add the backup to the list more than one time to get it to show up. If you try and it doesn't work the first time, try adding it again.

Thank you James for adding and clarifying my response and my apologies to Norman . My response was too brief as I "assumed" that he would browse from within TrueImage. The right click option may have related to prior versions but once the desired backup is selected, there is the option at the bottom of the screen to add the selected image to the listing of tasks.

Thanks to both. FYI I played around a bit and discovered that if you "validate" the backup from the choices in the Acronis right click menu it will add it to the list and then validate it. So apparently there is more than one way to skin a backup :)
