Thread needs solution

Hi,

I couldn't find any forum for trial Version problems so posting here.

Today I downloaded the trial version of Acronis True Image 2011 and installed it without any problems.
However I am unable to make my first back up... I get the error message:

FAILED TO RUN NOW: TASK TIMEOUT IS OVER. With Event code 0x00090060.

After wasting a week on Norton Ghost V14 problems I am eager to find a functional, easy to use replacement . This is not an auspicious start for Acronis True Image 2011.

Please advise any suggestions, or where a solution can be found on the Acronis Web site, or forum.

I'm very sorry for the situation you've faced. There can be dozens of reasons for the issue, so in order to solve it we need to localise one. Could you please gather the following information: 

  1. Exact sequence of steps performed.
  2. What's being backed up
  3. Where it's being backed up
  4. Acronis Info from the problem machine

After that please kindly contact support directly with the information attached (or send it to any Forum moderator).
